I really adore this fic. It has just that balance of why this pairing works. They both deal with the same anxiety and moral ambiguity in a way they can't possibly understand. I mean this could have easily been about Bruce at first except Bruce would probably just try his best, dress up like a bat and kick someone in the face, while Superman has something vaster and more visceral to deal with.
It just seems like they would understand each other intimately, even how they can't fathom what is really going on with their partner. It's so romantic...

Thanks, Draq. I'm glad some romance could be seen through the angst. I like angst, but I was afraid of making this too angsty and therefore just plain depressing. I'm glad you liked the relationship between Clark & Bruce.

Thanks, Stars! Ever since "Batman Begins," I've been amused by the picture of grumpy Bruce in the morning. "Bats are noctural!" he whines. :)

You're the first person to comment on that! I'm glad you like the "POV twist". That's originally what I was setting out to do and I didn't know how well it came across. I do like writing Clark's darker side so I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thanks again!
