Cakes.

 We're having a party next Summer (August) and have been looking round San Diego off & on for a good 2 months for a cake, similar style & talents to Charm City Cakes (Ace of Cakes). We would greatly appreciate it if anyone can point us in that direction?

Even if we have to drive to LA or Orange County.

I'm not familiar with Charm City Cakes (just quickly looked at their website), but Flour Power (http://www.flourpower.com), in El Cajon, is really good. Their peaches and cream flavor is excellent, and they do some beautiful work. I've never tried their cakes, but Just Fabulous (http://www.justfab.com) makes some of the most gorgeous cakes I've ever seen. Probably pretty pricy, though. It's worth checking their site out, even just to look at the pictures.
