Its the supposed "top 50" science fiction list. The idea is that you bold them if you read them, italicize the ones you started but never finished, underline those you loved, strike through those you hated.

everyone starts the Simirillian. i only know... probably 2 people that actually read the whole thing. and i'm surprised i know that many.

i want to attempt to read all the way through it someday.

well, I've read it all... just not start to finish.

you know...

start with the end.
three years later read the middle
another year and you read the end again
then you finally get around to the beginning...

I've probably missed a bit... but the fact is, I've never just "read the silmarillion"

you've gotten further than me, then! and (i'm assuming you left the anonymous one...) my dad's read it too. and someone i work with. my friends and i recently had a LotR party and watched all three (extended version, of course) in a row. he was telling us little facts from the Simirillion all the way through. so i really want to read it now. maybe next semester...
