Because my boss is a douchebag and all he really cared about was getting free work for his so-called business. Suckage. It also sounds to me like it just wasn't interested in teaching. Something I frequently find to be true.

Yeah. He was acting like his intention was to teach and suddenly he does not come to work half the time and acts like him helping me would make him go bankrupt. I still got to tell him in the end.

Seems a lot of people enjoy embellishing things they do not plan on doing. The working world is brutal. =o
