I finally found a transcript (C-SPAN's uncorrected closed captions), so I have a bit of an idea what he talked about.

He had three main points. I can't remember the third. But I can speak to the first two:
  1. Turn to God. Well, I'd rather people turned to Good. There are lots of soi-disant Christians who treat their fellow man like shit, and there are lots of non-Christians who love their neighbour just fine. Too many of the Beckites will already think "I've turned to God, so I'm good there," even if they're really misanthropic assholes underneath.
  2. Tell the truth. Tchyeah. Right, Glenn. When you start doing that, then I'll start taking you seriously. But as long as you keep promulgating everything from bullshit half-truths to out-and-out lies, I'm not going to trust you any farther than I can throw you.
So, yeah. I'd call Beck a fucking waste of time, except that there are many politically-active people who think the sun shines out his ass, and they all vote, and many of them are well-armed. (Any surveys on firearms ownership ( ... )
