I am still sorting through the emotions of the final Faire weekend. Fortunately, the underlying foundation to all of it is love... but my my, the expressions were varied and all over the map. Needed a day to myself to process everything.

Saving here for my own purposes, but also wanted to share this excellent food for thought. It's about the criteria we use to choose romantic partners, but it most certainly applies to any close relationship. Just noticed the footer of an email from our client. It's legalese stating that the email and attachments are solely for the intended addressee. But here's where it gets interesting (possibly in the Wash sense of the word):
Do not share them or use without [client's] approval. If received in error, contact the sender and delete them.

Sharing my "happy tunes" playlist
This playlist has helped me stay (relatively) sane the last 2 weeks. I couldn't find a couple songs ("It Only Makes Me Laugh" - Oingo Boingo; "As Long as I'm Singin'" - Bryan Setzer Orchestra; "This Girl Is Taking Bets" - Thea Gilmore; and "SFM" - Basement Jaxx, most notably), but these songs make me feel good about myself and life in general.
