Why does everyone insist on confusion? It's another stupid curse. It doesn't matter.

But: don't touch my tools. Tell me your location. I'm coming for the sand.

[ooc: switched with HIM thus in this. 8) ]

sand is my bb, curse day, affected?

(ooc: Roxas is practicing with the Keyblades on a roof, reasoning that it'd make him easier to spot. Comment log, y/n?)

(ooc: How ominous! Works for me. Let's have them ellipse at each other in person. Uh. You start? Since we already know Roxas = lurking with keyblades on random roof, utterly lost.)

[ Without the gourd, he had bee forced to draw the dirt from the ground, to crush and shape it into the sand eye, which he sent ahead as he ascended. It had proved to be somewhat needless: the display of odd weaponry made his task simple. Gaara's fingers twisted into seals; dirt from below was ripped up, already sand when it moved through the air, and it was easy to step onto the moving, cloud-like mass and have it carry him to the other roof, whereupon he hardly waited to disembark to begin trying to pull his sand from his gourd -- it was his, not attire, if the strap remained, fine.]

...

[ooc: LAWD TL;DR. That said ... I'm not sure if the sand should go or not. /so helpful! ]

[He'd seen weirder ways of traveling, and so only stilled the last practicing whirl as Gaara was deposited on the roof. The jerk from the gourd was unexpected, however, but Roxas managed. He braced his heels against the ground, watching as sand raced in a steady, dusty stream towards the other boy.

It didn't matter.]

That won't work. It just comes back.

[Apparently being weighted down by a gourd of oddly dark sand was an integral part of the ensemble.]

(ooc: If what Roxas said doesn't work for you, I can edit!)

[Rather than verbally acknowledge the statement, he tilted his head, considering the information. Condensing the sand, compacting it, he formed a small sphere, and let it hang in the air. Immediately, he felt the pull, and rather resist, let go, watching the ball unravel with a sudden, eerie similarity to a bundle of yarn, trickling back through the air.]

... Yeah.

[What he didn't say: he had had to try. Well. Gaara looked at the other boy, and decided he didn't want to know how the hell he'd managed to get lost on a roof. Glancing down to his weapons: ]

... What are those?

[ooc: Works for me! :D]
