Every year I try to get this done by Jan. 1 and every year I end up failing. December is such a hectic month that I don't really have time to sit and reflect until after it's over. Sorry we couldn't make our usual 'Next Year at AX' meeting, M. I did something I'd never done before in 2012 too: I'm in Afghanistan right now, as a contractor. Same job I had as in the Army, triple the pay. Wish I'd done this earlier.
May get out to CA in May. See you then?

Depends on when in May you're out here. I'm heading to Japan for a week and a half then.
