Mm. In Kokiri Forest, we'd celebrate birthdays... I don't know what holidays Hylians have, though.

Usually people would draw on the sides of trees, or go fishing, or spend the day in the Lost Woods... just do something fun. At least that's what we'd do on Saria's birthday.

As well as an official or unofficial observances of religious, national, cultural, other significance; often accompanied by celebrations or festivities which are mostly public or religious.

Today's a public holiday in Japan. Spring Equinox.

There was an Imperial Shinto holiday on the Equinox before the new Constitution. Now it's supposedly a day to appreciate nature. I wouldn't know about that; I live in Tokyo.

We were in the middle of a war and a up rise. We didn't have time for those..

Most of the ones from my would were based on religion anyway, and ripped off the traditions of old pagan holidays.. people that worshiped the earth and the sea... a group of people that were shunned for what they believed.. Papa told me.

Stupid humans.
