I've always loved Alex Grey's work... whenever I've seen it though it felt like a little too much to take in. It overewelmed me with it's intensity. My mom got me a cd of him talking about art and creating though and listening to it has been really inspiring.

The stuff about 911 in here is kinda crazy.

Crazy! He sure has a thing about eyes.

Yeah, I know... kinda creepy but pretty at the same time. I take it like a medifore for how eyes are the window into the soul and like the 'psychic 3rd eye' type thing is where you connect to your higher self.

My mom got me this cd of him talking recently and it got me into him. He does this really intense and beautiful art but he'd got this really huge dark side that makes him more interesting to me. He worked in a morgue for five years and learned about anatomy and bodies up close and personal. I love some of his stuff cause it just makes sense to me... the energetic aura type stuff.
