We got our computer fixed last week. It works prefect. Well ecxept I cannot for the life of me figure out what happened to the sound. The speakers are on and I know they work but they are not producing any sound. I have tried EVERYTHING. I unplugged them from the back and plugged them back in and you can hear the static but thats it. I can't play ( Read more... )

Believe it or not, mine did this same thing when I first got my computer. The only thing that worked for me was turning off the speakers, turn off the computer (completely shut down for about 10 minutes), then turn the speakers on, then turn the computer on. If that doesn't work, then go to the CONTROL PANEL and select SOUND,SPEECH,AND AUDIO DEVICES. Make sure they weren't muted when they were being worked on.
