I missed your sparkling presence, I did. But that's okay, I has memories to dwell on and smile over. Plus, it gave me focus to add a shitload to Saeth's post, I kid you not. I hope you all like it, I really do. I quested on pure instinct.

You start school on sept. 3, oui? Random question, je sais. Wants to know anyways.

It's eleven, early nighter for the fishface. Presentation first thing tomorrow, thank god. Let's get it over with and start on the actual work on Monday. ^^ Love you, night night, throws Saeth in your... okay, so no, he doesn't want to be thrown over, apparently (Gimli sympathizes >>); drags Blaise towards my general direction, there. Sleep well, sissyface (Cissyface?). <3

Best of luck with with the presentation. ♥

My net died hard. I watched QaF instead and tried to drabble, which failed utterly. I actually also went to bed early, but then Tiny decided to wake like a MILLION TIMES so didn't get rested. mrr.

Yes, I start on the 3rd. I'm waiting for my Three wing to stop sneering and start being helpful. Thursday-saturday next week I'm attenting an Enneagram basic course, fancy that.

You DID add a lot to Saeth's post; I see no problem with the amount of women. Considering Blaise's track record.
3. of the almost too easy ones is special.
...So is 3. of the unmentionables. But I think that's because she's someone Blaise would fall for. I don't think their taste coincides often but I'm sure it gets... tangled, when it does.
Raine is beautiful. The boys have a thing for Irish, they really do.

Presentation sucked, everything went wrong, which annoyed me to no end. But then we had a call for study counselors, seven of our classmates stepped up to the task, including me. Sooo we had to do a speech, and then the class had to vote. Paula and Nick got chosen, but I was behind them with just one vote, so if one of them is sick during the week, I get to step up.

Playing the part of runner-up does not sit well with me.

I need to steal you away before the 3rd, then, because time will be an ISSUE once that day arrives. And you'll tell me all about the course, won't you? ♥

I love you so much for noticing as much. I have a thing with rows and adding the most pretty/interesting/special to the third place. 3 of the easy ones is very special, there's something very deep and mysterious in her eyes; something's most definitely up with her. And 3 of the unmentionables is. God, she was hardcore ( ... )

I'm sorry. No, being runner-up sucks, and I'm sorry the presentation didn't go so well. But it's not supposed to, when you just had your first week to do it. Everyone's just wearing edges off one another for now. Give it a little time.

Well, I'm bringing Symon and hanging out on saturday, but Robert wants me to come home in the evening. It's not a lot, I know.

The number 3s definitely caught both Blaise's and my eyes. I'm serious, he could so fall for 3. of the unmentionables (what's up with that name anyway?) and he has something on the first three as well.
Alright NAMES, this is getting impossible.

Raine is your type right on the money. <3 You like vixens. Throw her at me how?

Another Brazil scene:

Theo wakes to the muffled sensation of skin against his own, fingertips traversing the uneven paths of scars across his back. His eyes open, and though Blaise cannot see it from his angle, the tension that cords his muscles at the touch betrays him.

"Good morning," Blaise murmurs, and does not move his hands away.

Also, Theo has a few words for Coldverse Blaise, though not ones he would ever say aloud. It sort of makes me alternately wibble and cringe at the sappy tendencies, but. I show you anyway, since this won't be a part of the finished fic, it just bounced around in my head.

Don't you understand I cannot live without you; don't you understand what you've done to me? I'm not angry, but I suppose it's safe to say that I am hurt- after all, I'll probably never see you again. I can't stay here if it isn't what you want, and I can't remember if I don't stay.

You made this choice. I cannot say it surprises me. I can never give you what you want, and you won't take what I do give. As if you will break it, somehow.

Self-fulfilling prophecy, Blaise.

I wish I could say that I will miss you, but we both know I won't be able.

I'm not sorry I fell in love with you. I'm only sorry that wasn't enough.

Some point in Coldverse. Nott Estate.

Theo is sitting curled up on the rug in front of the fireplace, the flickering light washing his skin is shifting gold and bronze, teasing out the hidden auburn shades of his curls. He is reading, looking down at the book in front of him, and his lashes cast soft semicircles of black across his cheeks.

He's hard to look away from, and Blaise doesn't really try.

A few minutes more, and Theo lifts his head and looks up. "Come here," he says softly, "and waste a little time with me."

"Time spent with you is never a waste," Blaise murmurs, sinking down gracefully next to him, and Theo's lips give the barest twitch. It isn't really a smile, but his eyes betray him; they sparkle with more than just the reflections of the flames. Blaise rests a hand lightly on Theo's shoulder, and his fingers seek out the bare skin just above Theo's shirt. For once, he is warm.

The way it won't go:

Theodore lifts his head, something hard sparking in his dark eyes. "No," he says, and his voice may be the quiet, but it is the quiet of a drawn blade, the hiss of steel. "Not good enough." A sudden flash of movement, and he grabs Blaise, catches him hard by the wrists and reverses their positions, pushing Blaise to the wall, hands pinned. "You told me once you never lied to me, but you are lying now. You don't want me to go, but you're terrified."

Blaise tenses against him, strains against the hold but finds himself well and truly trapped; Theodore narrows his eyes at him. "It won't work."

"I will destroy you, don't you-"

"Shut up," Theodore snaps, and kisses him before Blaise can say anything else.

fdjksbdhfjkm SO DISTRESSED. My friend Angell isn't coming back this year, and she didn't even tell me or Kelly! (Kelly being our other god friend, who was gong to room with Angell). THIS IS AWFUL. ALL MY FAVORITE PEOPLE (except Kelly) ARE LEAVING MY SCHOOL. WHY WHY WHY.

....right, sorry, going to go sulk elsewhere, and more quietly, now.

I'm horribly sorry I missed you, dinner took much longer than expcted, but, y'know, last dinner of Real Food, so, can't exactly complain. Also, the saying goodbye.

Anyway- Blaise: *strokes his hands firmly and slowly down Theo's back, almost soothing. takes a while to answer, quietly* I feel rather the same in reverse.

Theo lets out a long, slow breath and closes his eyes. "Never," he murmurs, with quiet conviction. "There may be times when things abut you drive me mad, there may be times when you make me furious, there may be times when you upset me... but that is part of who you are, and I'm... extremely fond of you, all of you." He pauses a moment. "I could go into more detail if your ego finds itself wanting further entirely unecessary feeding, but otherwise I shall leave it at that, before this gets entirely too saccharine."

My duckies are going to hell rather quickly, but oh, it is a very scenic trip. Forbidden, in two acts: Night & Day, Lines of Fire verse.
