Everything Ok For Now

Mom finally called about 1:45 am last night to advise that the hospital checked Dad out and couldn't find anything wrong. His colour came back, and he didn't pass out again. But as to why he did in the first place, they have no idea. He's been told to see his doctor stat.

It's no fun when you realize that your parents are getting older and frailer. When I was younger (High School) my Dad had phenomnia and when we took him to the hosptial we thought he might be having a heart attack. However it was a good thing he went because the type of phenomnia my Dad had was highly treatable, but fatal if you don't treat it soon enough. My Dad was in his mid fifties at the time, but it scared us all.

The plus side of the whole incident was that my Dad started to take his health seriously and began to see a doctor on a regular basis. But it was still no fun.
