This is very well done so far. Very much in character. I love how observant and right Damon is about Elena. I also loved how he knew Stefan was in earshot, but he still made those cutting remarks about his brother. And Damon telling Elena why he wants to save her? I got a little teary-eyed because this is a moment I desperately hope happens on the show at some point.

Wonderful and addicting already. Can't wait to see how all of this Klaus/Elijah drama unfolds. :)
