When I was younger, mostly in my teenage years, I used to explicitly not want people to understand me. Your 30s are way better than your 20s. After 30, it was like a switch flipped. I just stopped worrying so much about what other people and strangers thought. It doesn't mean I never notice, but I just care a whole lot less most of the time.

I agree with this. Generally speaking, 30s are way better than 20s. You really start coming into your own persona and seeing what it can do :)
