Stranger Ways CD - coming up!

I'm excited to report Stranger Ways (the band I'm in) has finalized our new CD, Guilt, Angst and Fairy Tales!

The physical CD release will happen at the Stranger Ways/Sassafrass concert we're doing at Arisia in January. (See Facebook link for details.)

Thanks! We've been waiting to use it for a while, actually. I think the album concept was conceived before Jon's baby was. :P

Thanks muchly! I have to say, when I was younger, I didn't foresee myself ever being involved with creating a CD, so it certainly is an exciting thing to accomplish (or, okay, to somewhat contribute to while other people did more work than I did).

I didn't realize you were a flautist in addition to having a reputedly amazing singing voice - neat! I dabble; I'd be a million times happier with an alto flute, as I tend to do better playing lower ranges for some semi-strange reason.

Anyhoos, will have to check that out later!

I'm really more a flautist than a singer, actually. And alto flutes are awesome. It's too bad they are so expensive, even for the not particularly amazing ones. Low range is the most fun, though!

Amen and agreed. My primary instrument through school was the French Horn, and I was that freak of nature rocking the pedaltones; I always figured that my embrasure would continue to prefer lower ranges across the board. Suffices to say, I will buy a lot of instruments if I ever win the lottery, ha ha.
