The premise of this meme is simple: Your character is now in the lovely Hotel California, located in scenic, well, California, either on purpose or otherwise! Everything there is wonderful, picture perfect in every way imaginable! Until you want to leave, of course.
how the meme works
Head on over to ye ol' RNG (it's right next to the bar, you can't miss it!), and roll for a number between 1 and 4. When replying to a comment, roll for yourself, and a set up a scenario from there!
1. You're a guest! Let the bellhops take your bags and show you to your room!
2. You're a concerned friend/relative/what-have you. Someone very dear to you checked in here ages ago and hasn't come back yet, so it's time to investigate! Keep in mind though, the management doesn't like a snoop...
3. You're an employee of some sort! It's a joy to be able to work here, and there isn't much that you wouldn't do to ensure the Hotel's continued success!
4. You're one of the Hotel's infamous ghosts! Perhaps you're a friendly prankster, or a ill-fated former guest that seeks to warn others, or... Perhaps you're the one people need to be warned of, hmm?

2. You're part of the social force. These are usually the desk staffers, the doormen, the sitters (leave your children in our nannies' tender loving care!), anyone that interacts closely with our dear guests. It's up to you to listen to their concerns and worries, and then promptly soothe them and ease their minds. Take care of their problems, one way or the other.
3. You're management! Be you the assistant manager, the assistant manager's assistant or even the manager themself, you run things around here! You decide what happens, from changing the drapes, to next week's menu, to deciding what to do with that one guest that keeps disturbing the peace. Just because you're the boss doesn't mean that you're above the work your employees do sometimes, remember.
