Depends on the situation. If whatever caused the person to fall out of favor was done intentionally, then no, no second chances. If it was accidental, or the situation got out of control and something happened, a second chance could be considered.
For example: Your friend comes over and accidentally kicks over your mom's favorite ___. Your mom gets upset and bans that person from seeing you. Well, shit happens, mom will calm down, and that person gets a second chance.
On the other hand: You've got a significant other who intentionally sleeps around willingly while still claiming fidelity to you... cheating liars don't get second chances, not in my book. Not anymore.
