I see I'm still terrible at keeping with western holidays...

It's a commercial holiday though, and most lovers don't celebrate it with much spirit or deep meaning.

Mmm, this is one of the stranger holidays I've seen here, but then again...

From what I read, it used to have more meaning than it does in modern times, which is quite disheartening.

I've seen odder... I never quite understood St. Patrick's Day outside of Ireland.

Indeed... Many things lose their meaning with time, but there's always hope time will give it meaning again.

I find it rather pointless that they decide to devote a day to such things...If people really do love each other they should express it every day, and not just on this Valentine's Day...

But it appears that some realms feel the need to have a specific day for it. The sentiment is sweet, but if it's true love...mmm, I'd just repeat what you've said.
