I don't know if you still need them, but I have twenty one of your fics in a file... dunno if they're all complete, but I'd be willing to send them to you at the email of your choosing.

Wonderful way to end this. They're still in a very uncertain place, but there's finally some honesty there. Really fine tale!

Thank you so much! Yeah...I hope it didn't sound too out of character for season five Buffy... :o)

Would you believe I got a notification for your update of this on ff.net?? I haven't used their email reminder system in so long!! I just read the whole thing through again and I really like it - it's so sweet and gentle. It's been a long time since I've read any S5 fic set after Intervention - most these days seems to go AU from FFL, and this little bit of hurt/comfort was very nice. Worth the wait! :P

Hahaha...good ole ff.net! :o) I haven't posted fic in forever. But I am working on another unfinished series to finish up for Seasonal Spuffy, so there may be more updates on ff.net.

Thank you so much for re-reading and for taking time to comment!! *hugs* It's so wonderful to see your name pop up on LJ! Really set after FFL, huh? I haven't read any and was just thinking about that episode. This story was based on someone on flist asking for it (I feel bad that it took so long to finish).

Are you participating in Seasonal Spuffy?

I really enjoyed reading all the parts (um ... with the understandable exception of Spike's broken ankle!). It's a very thoughtful work and makes me go back in time to when Buffy was on the air, with many of its characters walking, talking contradictions. And I think of the role of the Slayer (more than just Buffy) and how she was meant to be a weapon. What a horrid life, usually cut very short.

I'd always loved the simple purity of the post-Glory kiss. The other time Buffy and Spike were so intimately connected without the complications of sex was in the motel(?) when all they did was hold each other all nigiht long. I miss the thinky aspects of the show.

BTW, considering where the storyline went, can you imagine how things would have happened if Spike's character had been eliminated after a few short appearances, as originally intended?

Awww...I bet you totally resonated with the broken ankle and Buffy setting it. *hugs*

Thank you so much for reading! I miss the show, too.

And if they cut Spike's character as planned...boy, it'd be a very different show! What do you imagine would have happened?

I can't even begin to wrap my mind around a Spikeless show because his was a unique character cast as a beige hat. OTOH, I also wonder how the final seasons would have gone according to Joss's grand plan because ASH's departure for family reasons had never been in the cards. Or, IIRC, Joyce's death. Obviously too many variables.
