But most of the time, I don't. You know those writer doubts all authors have? Yeah. 9 times out of 10, I think every word I write is crap. With revisions, a part of me feels like I need to change every single sentence to make them better. Another part of me knows that's stupid. No one would have wanted to buy the book if it needed THAT much work.

I have a tag like that called "writer euphoria". It helps. Except that I seem to use "writer angst" more.

Yeah. I'd have more "writer angst" posts, too. I've been trying VERY hard not to post about the angst, though.

I'm like you. Days when I think I'm awesome are rare. But, man, when they come, they are amazing. I hope you have more awesome writing days. :)

I think we must all have those days, no matter what our profession. Except for the really arrogant of course. :) It must be a good thing - if you were positive everything you wrote was golden, you'd never improve. And probably never get published.

You know all those crappy people on American Idol who can't sing and are like "*#@!# ya'll you don't know what you are talking about!" You don't wanna be them. You wanna be the "really? I made it to Hollywood?" person. Cuz that person usually wins it all.
