Hated stat class in college, though! I should have flunked it. Seriously, with my test grades, my final average might have been 70. I ended up making an A. Either my math skills really are that bad (which is definitely a possibility!) or there was one hell of a curve for that course.

Do you mind sharing where you put the code for Analytics? I haven't been able to successfully add it to my LJ, and I suspect it's because I don't have a paid account.

(And apologies if this request is presumptuous, but this has stumped me for a few weeks now.)

Yep. I have a paid account. I don't know if that's a benefit of the account, tho. When I go to my settings page, there is a tab for Extensions. The first thing under that if for Google Analytics. It asks for my web property ID from Google, so I just entered that number.

Does that make sense?

You have to have a paid account to use Analytics, correct?

I'm not sure. Did you check the Extensions tab of your Settings?

Yeah, I just did, and it's an upgrade option.

I was wondering if you inserted the stuff into the HTML code itself. I did that for the World of Warcraft blog I'm a co-author of, and it allows me to be the stats man for our little group.

I've heard you can insert it into the html of each post. Haven't tried it, though, and it sounds kind of tedious.
