Are you wrapping air for Christmas?

I just discovered a huge problem with e-readers: I don't want to buy people e-books for Christmas. It's like giving someone air. Air doesn't look so good wrapped under the Christmas tree.

I want to buy good, old fashioned, tangible books, but both my mom and my grandmother have e-readers, so I'm not doing that this year. I'm really bummed about ( Read more... )

Oh, wow. You're a genius (and I'm the least creative person on the planet). I could do something like that, and it would almost be better than a real book because it can have a personal, handcrafty touch.

Ebooks are typically tied to a user account. If you buy it with your account, someone else probably wont be able to read it.....unless it is for me on your kindle!

Ha ha.

But I think Amazon has set up something that allows you to gift ebooks. It says something about it on its homepage, anyway.
