Hey, Sandy! Congrats on the new job, and getting a live journal!
After reading your entry, I realized that I've worked in one more state than I've lived in. When we were in the D.C. area, Kendell and I lived in Arlington, VA, and I worked at the Census Bureau, which was in glorious downtown Suitland, MD. My morning commute took me through the District of Columbia as well, so I liked to think of my daily commute as going through three states (if I'm permitted to think of D.C. as a state).
(At the Census Bureau, we were always having to say sentences that included the phrase, "For the 50 states -- AND the District of Columbia -- it is the case that..." Some people just said, "For the 51 states, it is the case that...", and everyone knew they meant D.C., not Puerto Rico or Guam or American Samoa or whatever else we own.)

Hope all is going well in Delaware and Maryland!
