Is there a doctor in this book? Only one that heals time and space, and not people. Well, maybe people, too. But the time and space part is more important. I have an idea, or a question, or maybe both, and maybe you might know the answer better than I would.

doctor who, magic book, blue box, luna lovegood, makes house calls, the future soon, dumbledore, time and space, time watch, vworp vworp

Is someone calling for me?

Writing, actually. But yes, I think so. I'm someone named Luna Lovegood, and have you seen crumplehorned snorkacks anywhere? Just thought I'd ask.

Oh. And there's one other thing, about a kind of watch. Or maybe a compass. Maybe both, actually.

Ohhh, Luna Lovegood! Hello, I'm the Doctor, and - by the way, this is from the hearts - it's a pleasure to meet you. Haven't seen any snorkacks anywhere, I'm afraid, but you know, I live for the day.

What sort of watch?

It's a pleasure to meet you, too. Although it's a shame about the snorkacks.

Is there any way to tell when you are? Because some of my friends are behind me, and I'd rather not spoil them on some things that I've seen because I'm ahead of them. A kind of watch to tell when people are. Or maybe a compass.

I believe I would be allowed to intervene if the fabric of your universe needs fixing.

I don't think there's any rips in the fabric. Or knots either. Just a bit of trouble knowing when people are and what you can say.

That is simple enough to fix. Simply align your thoughts with theirs, and allow the unnecessary memories to flow away while speaking to them.

How do you align a thought?
