 I will be moving to SF in september for six months, from ontario, canada. I have no idea what housing prices are like (I would like to rent a one bd. furnished, somewhere near 18th st. but I don't even know what that means geographically) or what different neighbourhoods are like? 
does any one want to tell me about SF!?!

18th Street runs through several neighborhoods...what's the nearest cross street to 18th that you'd want?
