Hey since it came with the last update I tried out the new Internet Explorer 8 browser. It looks like they added a few new things that Firefox already has such the Reopen Closed Tabs, Reopen Last Browsing Session and something called Accelerators which is sort of like Firefox Addons I guess but not quite.

I looked at IE8 but said to hell with it. there's so many places that can't or won't support IE7 that I saw no reason for it. FF doesn't use much RAM, but the extensions/add-ins are what take up the space. I've had my fair share of problems with FF, but that can be expected from any open source program.

I won't touch Chrome becasue of the privacy issues surrounding Google and iGoogle. I personally do not want to allow Google direct access to my files or any content to the hard drive. Now, do I particularly care for how contents on my hard drive will show up in a google search from my own PC or anyone else. there are way TOO many backdoor in Chrome that allow for direct access to my computer by hackers, the government, or curious housewives, twelve year old kids, or doemsticated house plants.

Oh so it the extensions.. no wonder. I should remove some then.

I heard a few things to that extent about google (same with microsoft too) but didn't know anything much about Chrome. I wouldn't want curious housewives or plants snooping in my comp either. Maybe ninjas are ok :P

i think Google Chrome is good but you can try to use Opera or Safari and can always switch back to FF

Good idea. I tried Opera a long time ago. Can't remember but I think it looked a lot like FF. Never tried safari before.
