I saw Detroit Metal City recently, I thought I wasn't going to like it, but I really enjoyed the film. Now I can understand the Japanese love towards it XD

About District 9 (for some reason before clicking the link I was thinking in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Act_19 XDDD) I still have to wait for the DVD release in Spain T_T

I thought DMC would be good because MatsuKen/L was in it, but I didn't expect it to be that funny. It was great^^

Yup, as tetsdi mentioned she was in Nana 1 but opted out of part 2 to be in Heavenly Forest (I think she made the right choice because it was such a beautiful movie^^).

Ah, it's fun but the band members are a bit annoying :P Have you seen Detroit Metal City?

D9 issn't scary or anything, it's just that a lot of things get cut/blown off and the effect were pretty realistic. Probably not for the squeamish.

Yeah, that was what I was afraid of lol. I'm a total wimp when it comes to stuff like that. I saw the first ten minutes of Ju-On 2 and had nightmares for weeks. :P

Nope, they rarely show Japanese movies in cinemas here. If they do it's usually a horror movie :( You can get it at tobenaitsubasa but unfortunately the subs aren't out yet.
