After doing some google-research, I've decided on which laptop to get.

This one, the Acer Aspire 1825PTZ...

The fact that it's also a tablet appeals to me. I don't know why. It's a laptop AND I can pretend that it's an iPad and/or a Kindle.

Pros:
-Small, but faster than a netbook
-Tablet/HD touchscreen goodness

Cons:-Super shiny outside cover

That's reaaaaaaly cool. I would love to have a touchscreen but for some reason they don't like my fingers XD I can't make those things work, I always end pressing the screen like mad and at the very end asking someone for help XD

Haha.. I haven't really used any touch screen before (other than Nintendo DS) so it'll be a new experience :)

netbooks are going to be gone in no time, it was a super fast fad sadly. I wished the netbooks were around five years ago in the states unlike the rest of the world which has had them for a better part of a decade. Looks as the iPad is going to be the future of computing.

there's still a huge demand for netbooks from those who want something really portable and cheap and don't know or care much about computers and just want to do basic stuff..

they're sooooo slooowww...
