Being a carer for an elder can be very challenging. When I first started, mom was resistant to almost all assistance and advice. She was in a frame of mind that was generally defiant of anyone else's take on her condition, as well as her needs for care. It was exhausting

Thanks Charlotte. I hope you've been well. You'll love Colorado for sure landscape wise. Different parts are pretty different for sure, culturally. Boulder was pretty hip. :-) Where you gonna wind up?

I'll be in Ft Collins, near the Uni ; I also went, last year, but we weren't able to do a lot, as my bestie (who works at the uni) had to work, that week. This time, she has the week off, so we'll be toodling about/exploring, a lot more. Looking fwd to this, so much! 😃

Thank you. I wish I could say its all okay.
This is the hardest thing I've had to do for a long time. I am literally watching mom lose her mind.
My siblings think I'm in over my head trying to care for her.
It's intense.
