Okay fandom, a topic for discussion. I can afford a tiny splurge -- one episode of Torchwood for my iPod. Which one should it be? Or if you don't have a strong opinion on your favourite, help me decide which one I'll enjoy best

Now that's a definite possibility. Or maybe I'll splurge and do two eps, this one and the finale. Because that 2-parter had everything I like best about Torchwood -- character depth, subtlety, the team doing their best to do something genuinely complicated without adequate knowledge or leadership, Jack being an ass without even knowing it, and not being able to stop himself when he does know it...and Ianto with a gun. I can't really explain that one, I just find well dressed, accented men with firearms sexy. It's a holdover from La Femme Nikita, I think.

I realize I'm late to the party on this, but...well...

Also, that I'm a total heretic for saying that I still love Countrycide in irrationally powerful ways.

Still, if you want one ep that really nails Torchwood in all its splendor, I think KKBB is a strong contender. They manage to get the whole core feel of the show and wrap it in a snappy hour. Good times.
