The last line is still my favorite line, I think. But the entire story is a fabuloso unseen moment in time.

I do breath stuff. I fear it's a bit of a personal cliche, and I try to tone it down, because sometimes I re-read a draft and it sounds like everyone is having some sort of panic attack, there's all this huffing and puffing. But you can tell so much about a person's state of mind by how they're breathing! It's something I tune into in RL, so it creeps into my fic. Sometimes I worry that me and the breathing is a bit like Nick and the persistent moisture, though.

In terms of head canon, I had just re-read my Gwen/coat story recently and it fits with this. This is my head canon now. \O/

I have missed your writing sooo much

Thank you! I, too, have missed my writing - missed doing it, that is. But now and then the brain flicks on and I manage something. This piece was the result of me using the puzzle of how the guys' first private conversation would go, at this moment in time. Okay I'm lying - the puzzle was to figure out how they'd get to the sex. Plausibly. And it was the perfect puzzle to try and solve while I was going to sleep, because it seemed unsolvable. They kept talking and talking, and I'd be asleep before anyone's pants came off.

I'm trying to solve the First Time puzzle at the moment. Might yield something. Might just help me sleep. Either way, it's good. :-)
