You really, really ought to publish that thing to your LJ. It's brilliant. Take away all the names and references to blue fur, and it's a spot-on little piece of noir. Leave in the names, and you've not only made something cracktastically awesome, but you've combined the Noir/hardboiled trope of human weakness and the Muppets use of caricature into something that shows the tropes to be in fact identical, and therefore comments on both genres.

And yes, muppet noir was the whole intent. The show itself did that, with the Fozzie Bear, Private Investigator thing.

I entered two different stories. My style for one is Stephen King (hopefully in the early years, before he fell in love with his own words) and for the other Arthur Clarke -- quite the compliment. Fun site!
