As long as it might have taken you to write this chapter the result was great.
I can picture them standing in there warming up. It is usually easier to talk in such a situation.
Confessing things to the wall rather that the others face, the warm water washing tension away. Good chapter!

Then public shower cum confession booth was a fun setup. It let them be defenses down (naked and worn out) while the defenses were up (locked doors and a wall).

The next chapter isn't going to take quite as long, but it's going to be longer than three days. It's in good progress though.

I can see how this was a turning point in their fight. And how hard it had to be to write that properly.
To make them say the things that really could make that difference.
But you did it so good!
You're making canon make sense. This is the story that we missed in the series. I'm glad that you're the one writing it. With such an eye for the important details and feel of reality. Two persons complicated and real and the very real fights and conversations they have.

But I'm probably going to say this after every chapter. Like it so much.

This was an awesome chapter, Jack is finally answering some questions, and he is actually making sense! Can't wait until the next part :D

Jack making sense -- that's one of the things that took so long with this chapter. I couldn't hone in on him well enough. Either this chapter or last, I wrote Ianto asking "why are you here" and then realized I didn't actually know, not clearly. Took me awhile to get there.

The next chapter is roughly outlined and firmly in progress, but it's going to be a few days I'm afraid. The last chapter ate up all the slack time I had left myself in the posting schedule. So I'm delighted that you wait for this to be posted, but I have to warn you it might be a week. Wish me free time, that's what it takes.

Nice chapter. I like them getting (some) things out in the open in the showers. Clean. (Although I'll confess to hoping for some shower sexing...maybe Smut Sunday? Hmmm?)

It was so very tempting to go the angry-shouting-getting-up-in-each-others-space-tension-then-hawt-sexitiem route. Soooo tempting. But it wasn't really right for the story, sadly. Don't lose hope though.

No smut Sunday. But it seems that I observed Sexual Frustration Saturday! Sort of.

The farther you get into this, the more I love it. Really, ever chapter makes me squee just that little bit more. I love Ianto admitted he brought the lube on purpose, and I really loved Ianto begging for something, anything true.

Heh, glad you liked the lube bit. Ianto is having a little trouble admitting responsibility for stuff these days, but I don't see him as someone who really does stuff by accident.

Also, if you were gonna be stuck in a tent with Jack, wouldn't you?
