Okay, I'll play.

Pick 10 people and give them the "you make my day" award, in no particular order. If you're picked, you are charged with picking 10 of your own (unless you've already done it.)For reasons I can't quite articulate, this meme is trigging all kinds of Middle School alarm bells, but I was tagged so I'll play along. However, this entry is going to be ( Read more... )

The shed is its own reward, I should think.

I do intend to reply to your email someday. It's one of those things where there's so much I want to say that I never seem to find the time to sit down and do it. Silly, really.

Relentless prompting of kink scenarios -- they should name an award after you, SRSLY. You should give out your own awards -- The Waldo. It would be given to any first time smut writer who impressed the pants off you *cough* after picking up one of your prompts. I'm sure you're single-handedly responsible for a goodly number of nascent smut writers.

Second, hahaha, yeah. I had the same middle school alarm bells! What a great way to handle it ;-)

I figured, anyone who *is* on my IM already knows I think they're cool, so why not mix it up a bit? (Also, why are you not on my IM? We should rectify that.)

I'm conflicted about socializing online. One the one hand, there's a definite sleep-away-camp vibe sometimes, and I always regarded the social rituals of camp (and dorm life) with skepticism, they seemed so false and exclusionary. And yet, I have met people I'm glad to know, whom I will likely never meet in person. As such, the usual, more organic forms of socialization are unavailable, but I have to make do without them if I want to know these folks. So, I'll play the games. Some of them. I'll do some of the name-dropping that goes on, and I'll use a lot of the proper lingo and pass on the jokes. But...I'll never be quite comfortable, you know?
