People who IM me looking for cybersex thinly disguised as roleplaying need to die on FIRE. Especially when they don't even check to see if I'm busy/up for roleplaying/whatever... so they just start in with bullshit and I'm like "I AM AT WORK. Also: you're a shitty roleplayer." Then they get all mad at me

Good sweet Christ, I did long-term storyline based roleplay for YEARS. This means well-plotted out PARAGRAPH format with proper spelling and grammar. Usage of quotation marks around speech, italicized thought, multiple fucking sentences per post unless there was a damned good stylistic reason not to...
Oh, and even with people I roleplayed with for a long time, and even in sexual situations, it didn't just jump in. There was the "hey, how are things?" and some person-to-person chatting first, then some minor story discussion, THEN the roleplay.
What the FUCK is with the substandard roleplaying that's come up in the past few years? I've been doing this shit since I was eight years old... that's 17 years! Seventeen fucking years! I'm entitled to be an elitist bitchqueen about this.
