Hypocricy makes the world go round

The Right Thing.

We all know what The Right Thing is. The concept is an integral part of our society.
  • If you make a promise, keep it.
  • If someone is in trouble, help them.
  • Be considerate of others.
  • Don't take things that don't belong to you.
  • Be honest and forthright.

Sometimes the Military is a good place to be! anonymous September 1 2005, 00:54:54 UTC
I understand your point of view and fully agree when it comes to our society as a whole. In the military we find personnel not carrying their load and if we wish those people can be made to carry much more than their share until the poor bastards realize it behooves them to pull their fair share...also, their fair share is somehow much more than my fair share since I have been in 22 years so enjoy the benefits of senority...WAIT! Shit, now I am that damn city council dude you eluded too. But the rewards are sweet so I will stick with it. :).

When I retire in 8 years I will continue to suck on Uncle Sugar's tit until I pass away in a drunken fall down the whorehouse stairs at age 97. I wish to thank all of you tax paying citizens for contributing to my retirement fund!

Sometimes I really do wonder if we reside on the same planet...

Hypocrisy might make the world go around, but Idealism holds it up. Always has, always will :)

You're right, of course.

Without idealists who *try* to do The Right Thing, nothing meaningful would ever get accomplished. I'm not evangelizing hypocricy, I'm just disappointed at the apparent lack of public awareness of it.
