We got the house! Yay!

Moving in can begin May 1. I'm so happy I could just pop. Plus the owners are really awesome people - got to meet them last night.

Yayayay!

EDIT: If anyone is interested, for as long as it stays up here's the house info.

Thank you! I am considering enlisting your girlfriend's help to make my yard nice.

Woohoo! Grats on the house. When's the housewarming party?

Thank you!

I don't know if I'm going to have a housewarming party. My thoughts on that matter are that when all (or most, anyways) your friends live out of town people don't/can't show up. But if I decide to try, you are definitely on the list. :)

Yay! Homelessness sucks. So are you renting or buying?

We are renting at the moment, but the house has an option to buy. So if we like it for the next couple of months, we can easily choose to buy it. With my credit that would actually drop three hundred a month off of the rent.

Aren't y'all toying with the notion of a house? Or am I remembering that wrong?

No, we are hoping to be able to buy a house at the end of the summer. In fact, we have a meeting with a mortgage specialist on Wed. to form a plan.

Where is your house at?

I just put the link up, but it's in Copperfield, which is off of 290 and Hwy 6. Pretty far away from you guys now, that's for sure. But the neighborhood is very nice, and the area has everything we need right around the corner. I'm really happy about it.

Our goal was to rent for a year and save money to buy a house at the end of it. Of course, if we decide to keep this one, then that's even better.

Glad to see you guys found a place. And a nice one at that. I don't know if it's the angle of the photo or what, but your kitchen appears to bigger than my whole apartment.

Thank you!

The kitchen is huge. Having the stove and oven out in the middle is going
to make everything so much easier to get to. Of course, your apartment is about the size of a dorm room, isn't it?
