So tonight I decided to sit down and figure out all my crap. Being a music/criminal justice major, I knew there would be a lot of it. But I didn't quite realize the extent of my undertaking. I'm looking at at least the five year plan, and this is only if I take classes during my winter and summer breaks. I have no idea where I'm going to get the

Now THAT, young lady, is quite a schedule. (And I thought mine sucked.) I don't know how you music majors do it. Our music program is sorta the same way...a music degree requires the most credits of any degree DU offers and music majors very rarely ever finish a bachelor's in under 6 years, and we're on the fricken' quarter system. You music kids...I dunno, I admire that. I still miss the good ole days of band (I wrote that long-ass ode/tribue thing a few weeks ago) but there's no way I could do it in college.

So how've you been? (Other than having that slap-across-the-face schedule?)

If it makes you feel any better, I think we're all having those "what the hell have I gotten myself into" moments lately. You should have been at dinner tonight- Ryan, Nicole, Rich and I all confessed that we have all broken down in tears recently because it's just so damned much (well, Ryan was just close to tears. But manly-man that he is, what else would you expect?)

Just hang in there. Do what you want to do, and then every decision will be the right one, and the sacrifices will all seem worth it.
