-facepalm- y'know, i was going to suggest pictures to icon for you, but it totally slipped my mind. D:

and on a side note...idk if you've been there yet but there's a nify little comm called icon_tutorial; it's where i get all of my tips and tricks for icon making. they're good for banners, too. although lately a lot of the tuts have been lacking, i wouldn't mind posting a tutorial recommendation list to HMI this week. C:

i quite like this batch, really. takes a lot of guts to put text on icons. ;; i'm terrified of the notion. i tend to fail magnificently. (see: icon.)
