Piece 1
“Everything you said, it was a lie wasn’t it?” She asked, watching him as he watched the world pass by through the thick glass of the window.
“Everything is a lie from a different point of view Waverly.” He said with no intonation inside his voice. It was dead, as if everything within his being had been killed when she had learned the truth.
“Everything you’ve ever told me,” She choked out, trying not to start crying, not now, not after everything that had happened. There was no way she could let herself fall into tears. She already knew he was a liar, she had given up by now, but all she wanted was something, something she couldn’t even understand herself. “How could you? How could you use me like this?” She whispered, her face twisting into something close to disgust. Her mouth opened slightly and she let out a short breath. “How could you do this Lucifer?”
His eyes finally turned to her. They frightened her as they looked into her own with no feeling, no light. “You asked me to. You asked me for everything that has happened to you here, and NOW you come to me and ask me how I could DO THIS?” His voice raised as his anger became apparent. “You’re always like this, every time it comes to this point you blame me, but have you ever looked to see what your perfect GOD has given you? I gave you everything, everything I have is now yours, and what more do you want? My body, it’s yours! My blood? It’s yours! You already have the only thing that was free for me to give, you took it more easily then I could have ever thought, but you want more. Just leave me alone and cut me down again. Watch the blood pour from my veins and revel in my last breaths as only you can.” He turned from her, resting his hand on his forehead and squeezing his eyes shut, repressing the flood of emotion that threatened to overtake him. “Just go. . . leave me, now.” He said tightly.
