Eddie watches his lover calmly. Around him the Justice League is going nuts trying to break free and reach them but they can't and Eddie knows why. He leans his head towards the hand that caresses his cheek, shutting his eyes to enjoy the feeling.
"I could kill you now and finish this." He states his grip on Eddie tightening, growing cruel, Eddie's eyes open and study him and smile softly.
"I know."
"Then why aren't you scared?" A soft smile.
"Because I know you." His grip tightens even further and his other grips the knife that will sacrifice Eddie and bring Hell to Earth.
"You think you do. I could kill you easily." A small smile.
"I know. It would give you everything you wanted."
"And you still stand here."
"I know you." He brings the dagger to Eddie's chest, the point just breaking skin, a small trickle of Eddie's blood lighting up the both of them as it runs down his chest. Then it drops to the ground and he draws Eddie into a hug.
"I won't say i'm sorry."
"I know. Want to get out of here before they break out?" Eddie asked flicking his tail at the others. A nod and the two of them step through a portal as the moment ends and things return to normal. The threat fading as though nothing happened as the knife began to dissolve into nothing.
