Christmas Wishing part1/5
Pairing: Akame, JunDa, TaNaka, KAT-TUN (friendship)
Summary: Kazuya wishes about a happy Christmas with his lover and their friends might not come true?
Kamenashi Kazuya is on his way home after a whole day of rehearsals and practice with the group. They would work every day of the Christmas days this year. This made Kazuya a bit sad since the only wish he made this year was to celebrate Christmas with his friends and of course Jin, his lover. But He wouldn’t be able to do that since today was the last day he would see TTUN because they would all go to different places that same night to be able to work in the morning.
Kazuya recalled the conversation that the five of them had had the same morning.
~Flashback~
It’s 07.00 in the morning and the five members of KAT-TUN had just arrived to their workplace and were talking happily with each other when Kazuya suddenly asked.
“So what will happen tonight and tomorrow?”
Koki being the first one to answer. “Nothing much, I have to travel most of the night probably since I’m working in Sapporo tomorrow. Why?”
“Nothing, really, I just thought since its Christmas eve today and Christmas day tomorrow it would be fun to do something after work.” Kazuya said then turned to the others. “How about you guys?”
Junno, Yuichi and Tatsuya looked at each other, then at Kazuya. They didn’t want to make the youngest of their member sad by decline but they knew they wouldn’t be able to meet the younger since they were all going away to work.
Yuichi being the first one to speak up. “Sorry Kazuya, I’m going to Osaka tonight and won’t come home before late tomorrow night. Work you know.”
“Junno and I need to leave our sweethearts at my mother’s before he is going to Nagoya and I’m going to Sendai to work so we can’t, sorry.” Tatsuya said to Kazuya.
Ever since Junno and Tatsuya had moved in together, Tatsuya’s four dogs had being referred as ‘Their sweethearts’, which in the beginning had confused the others a bit.
Koki looked at Kazuya and thought he saw something sad in the younger’s eyes. “Are you OK, Kazuya?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” Kazuya smiled at him. “I guess. I just hoped that Jin would be back by now.”
Jin had been away for a few months and the only way the Akame couple had been able to talk was through phone. Koki knew Kazuya’s greatest wish for Christmas this year had been to be with Jin, but it didn’t look like his wish would come true.
“Aren’t you working tomorrow?” Koki asked Kazuya to change topic.
“Yeah, I am, but I’m working here in Tokyo so I’ll be home on my free time.” He said.
They didn’t have any more time to chat since their choreographer came into the room. It was time to work.
~End of Flashback~
Kazuya walked into his and Jin’s apartment closing the door behind him. Soon two dogs ran to him to greet him. Kazuya knelt down to greet them back. Usually there were four dogs in the apartment but ever since Jin left for US only Pin and Ran-chan was home. Jin’s other two dogs Ten and Maru was staying at Jin’s mother’s to prevent Kazuya to stress when he came home ‘cause he hadn’t have the time to walk the dogs. Even though Kazuya had told him it would be no problem with all four dogs Jin had wanted to send the dogs to his mother. Kazuya had at least made Jin let Pin stay at the apartment. He really missed Jin but thought that if Pin hadn’t been there he would probably be missing Jin more than he did.
He looked at the Christmas tree that stood in the small living-room and then at the presents lying under it. Kazuya walked over to the tree and sat down to look at the presents, There was one present for every one of their friends then one present for Jin from Kazuya and one for Kazuya from Jin. Kazuya reached for that present and the note that had come with it a few days ago. Every day since it arrived, Kazuya had been reading the note.
It said:
Dear Kazu!
How are you doing back home?
Probably working you pretty ass off with everything that’s going on.
Don’t forget to take it easy sometimes too.
I know the others wouldn’t have anything against it.
I don’t know if I’ll be home in time for Christmas this year, but I’ll try my best.
There is a present for you at least, in case I won’t make it home in time.
Promise me you’ll wait until Christmas day to open it, Pinkie promise.
I miss you Sweetie, A lot. But I have to go now.
See you soon, at home.
LOVE- your Jin
Kazuya felt happy about Jin’s letter. The older one really knew him just too well. Even though Jin wasn’t there Kazuya knew that what Jin said was true.
He left the present and the note under the tree once again and walked into the kitchen to make some food for him and the two dogs. It was late already and Kazuya was starting his work early the next morning so after he finished his meal he went to bed. The two dogs had already fallen asleep in their dog-bed in the living room.
The next morning Kazuya woke up with in an instant after hearing a *Bang* from a door, followed by some barking from the two dogs who soon was silenced. Had he forgot to lock the door to the apartment last night? He stood up after looking at the clock, it was still a few hours before he needed to wake up, and quietly walked over to the door that separated the bedroom with the rest of the apartment and opened it just a bit so he could see what was happening. From where he stood he could see that the front door was closed. Then there was another *Bang* from the inside of the apartment. Kazuya could see that one of Jin’s guitars had fallen to the floor and that had been the source of the second bang.
Kazuya quietly walked out of the bedroom to see why the guitar had fallen. He was scared that it was a thief or something like that.
Then he heard a sound from the living room. It was a melody, he knew that melody, and actually he hated that very melody just a few months ago.
He heard a whisper. “Damn.” Then a little break and that someone in the living room answered his phone. “You know that it’s my head that’s going to hurt if he’s been woken up, right?”
Kazuya’s heart jumped over a beat when he heard that voice. Was he dreaming? He walked over to the entrance to the living room to look discreetly inside. There in the middle of the living room with his back to Kazuya stood Jin whispering into his phone, unknown about the fact that he was being watched from behind.
“Koki, Koki.” He said to the phone. “Calm down, Yuichi probably just said that to make you jealous. You know he would never really do anything like that. It would probably be you or me doing something like actually getting on the train to some place to make either Kazu-chan or Yuichi worried after a fight. But Yuichi, He probably went to his parents or something for the night.” There was a break. “Told you not to worry. He’ll probably call Kazu-chan in the morning.” Another break. “I’ll talk to you later.” A longer break. “Yes, everything is set for tonight. See you then. Yaa ne.” And he hung up.
Kazuya wanted to go to Jin and hug him but thought that if Jin and Koki had a surprise for him he would be caught having eavesdropped on them. So he decided to sneak back into the bedroom before Jin noticed his presence. Once inside he lay down in his bed so that he could see the door and pretended to sleep while Jin walked around in the apartment to restore the damage he had done while entering it with his bags. After half an hour Kazuya heard the bedroom’s door open and knew Jin walked inside.
