Summary: Kazuya wishes about a happy Christmas with his lover and their friends might not come true?

It was too early in the morning to think about anything that didn’t include a bed and sleep for Jin. Not that he hadn’t slept on the plane back to Japan and almost fallen asleep again in the car after Yamapi had picked him up at Narita airport. He had just exited the car and Yamapi helped him to get the bags out of the car.
Yamapi laughed a little when he lifted the last bag. “What did you do during your free-time over there? By the look of your luggage I would think you’re a shopaholic or something. Didn’t you just have one small bag when you left?”
Jin smiled to his best friend. “I did. But you know. I wanted to buy stuff for Kazuya and everyone since its Christmas.”
Yamapi looked at his watch. “I really need to get home and rest now. Take care and say Hi to Kame from me. He really missed you, you know. Even though he would never tell anyone about that, we’ve all seen it in his eyes.”
“I know, Pi.” Jin said with a saddened expression on his face. Then he remembered the surprise he and Koki had planned for the coming night. “See you tonight?”
“Sure. I wouldn’t want to miss it in a million years. Christmas isn’t Christmas without our yearly party together, right. See you then.” Yamapi smiled back before entering the car and drove away.
Jin went inside the building with his suitcase and his two smaller bags and went up to the third floor where the apartment he and Kazuya shared together was. Since he knew for sure that Kazuya already was in deep slumber and also knew that said man hated to be woken up in the middle of the night, or in this care too early in the morning, especially when he had work the next day, Jin tried his best to not make too much sound while entering the apartment with his bag.
It didn’t go as planned though. Just when he had entered through the door he accidently hit the door with his bag while turning around to close it, resulting that the door was shut with a loud Bang. Jin cursed his stupidity mentally for it, than once again when the barking from the dogs started and the two dogs came running towards him in high-speed to see who had disturbed their sleep. Jin greeted the dogs quickly before walking inside the living room together with the dogs, which went back to their bed after seeing that it was their owner whom had entered the apartment.
Though just as Jin entered the living room his other bag accidentally hit one of his guitars, that he had left at home, which ended up on the floor with another loud Bang. Jin placed his bags on the floor by the couch to prevent any more harm and was on his way to raise the guitar when his phone started to ring.
“Damn” Jin cursed and pulled out the phone from his pocket and turned to the window to look out over the sleeping neighbourhood while answering the phone, thinking that if Kazuya hadn’t been woken up by now it would be a miracle. When he saw that the caller-id belonged to Koki, he cursed the guy mentally since if there were someone who knew Kazuya’s way of being when woken up like this, except Jin of course, it was Koki.
“You know that it’s my head that’s going to hurt if he’s been woken up, right?” he answered the phone as quiet as he could.
“Jin, this is an emergency.” Came the answer from the other line. “Yuichi got mad at me for some reason and left after saying that he definitely would leave our relationship and find someone who actually knew how to love another person. And he haven’t come back jet and it was hours ago. What if he got on the train to somewhere faraway from here?” Koki yelled into the phone and Jin could hear the worry in the others voice.
“Koki, Koki.” He tried to get the others attention. “Calm down, Yuichi probably just said that to make you jealous. You know he would never really do anything like that. It would probably be you or me doing something like actually getting on the train to some place to make either Kazu-chan or Yuichi worried after a fight. But Yuichi, He probably went to his parents or something for the night.” Jin tried to soothe the other one. He knew Koki wouldn’t sleep before he knew Yuichi was safe whatever he said. When he heard a long sigh from his friend he smiled.
“You’re right, he wouldn’t do that.” Koki said and Jin could here that he wasn’t that worried anymore. “Should I try to call him? Maybe he’s sleeping right now.”
“Told you not to worry. He’ll probably call Kazu-chan in the morning.” Jin knew that every time the TaNaka couple had a fight it was always Jin and Kazuya who had to help them fix it.
“You’re right, Jin. I should try to sleep a bit. Thanks.”
“I’ll talk to you later.” Jin said, hopping to be able to end the call but before he could, Koki started to talk again.
“By the way, is everything set for the party tonight?”
“Yes, everything is set for tonight. See you then. Yaa ne.”
“Yeah great, se you then.” Koki replied and they both hung up.
Jin looked around in the living room only to realise how much he missed this place. Everything was exactly as when he left, apart from the plate with fresh fruit on the living room table which told him that someone actually was living here during these past months. He then saw the guitar on the floor and remembered the incident just a few minutes ago and placed it against the wall where it usually was placed. It didn’t take too long before he walked over to the door to the bedroom stopping just before he opened it and took a deep breath. He opened the door and walked inside only to stop in front of the form sleeping in the bed.

Jin looked at the form in front of him. It was so beautiful and he knew this had been the missing part of him while he had been in the US. He had to stop himself from waking the sleeping man in front of him to kiss him and hug him. Then he really would get a punch in the head by the smaller man. So he changed into a pair of boxers and lay down on his side of the bed and turned to the smaller man’s back, placing his arm around the younger one’s stomach.
Kazuya moved into the warm hug that was given from the older man and twined his fingers with Jin’s. Not caring about anything else then that Jin was home. He felt asleep.
Kazuya whispered as he was dreaming. “I love you. Please be there when I wake up tomorrow.”
Jin smiled into the younger’s back and said. “I promise. Sweet dreams sweetie. Love you too.” Then he also fell asleep.

A few hours later Kazuya woke up by the alarm clock, thinking that it all had been a dream and when he felt another presence in his bed he got terrified by it. Had he, Kazuya Kamenashi, been unfaithful to Jin? He had to get out of the bed now. He tried to get up but was stopped by an arm holding him down. He wasn’t fully awake yet and started to panic to get out of the tight embrace but the person behind him just tightened the embrace more. Then he heard a voice from behind.
“What’s wrong?” The voice asked.
Even though Kazuya recognised the voice he couldn’t think straight and just tried harder to get away from the other one. “Let go of me!” He screamed terrified to the man behind him.
Jin understood what Kazuya must have been thinking when he woke up just a few minutes ago and tried to calm him. “Sweetie…” He was cut off.
“Don’t you dare call me that, asshole.” Kazuya screamed once again making Jin startled by the words his boyfriend had used.
Jin turned Kazuya around to make the younger look at him but saw that Kazuya’s eyes were closed. “Kazu.” He tried but Kazuya didn’t open his eyes and kept struggling in Jin’s embrace. “Kazuya.” He tried again but without success so he decided to do the only thing he could think about to get Kazuya’s attention, he kissed him on the mouth.
Kazuya’s eyes flew wide opened and he pushed the man away from him as fast as he felt that kiss on his lips. He was shocked but then he looked at the man who was just a few centimetres away from him, recognises who he was, then remembering what he had just said and done.
“I’m sorry.” He said. He had calmed down now but felt so bad that he started to cry.
Jin hugged him tight and kissed him again. “It’s okay. Kazu, don’t cry. I’m sorry I frightened you.” He brushed away the tears that had started to fall.
Kazuya looked into Jin’s eyes. “You’re really here? It’s not a dream?”
Jin smiled. “Surprised?”
Kazuya didn’t answer that question and just hugged Jin tight and hid his face in the embrace.
“I’ve missed you so much you know.” Jin said. “I just wanted to give you a surprise gift on Christmas day. Merry Christmas, Sweetie.” He kissed Kazuya on the lips and this time the younger returned his kiss.
