I pictured a white / greyblackish theme and the background mostly white with some sort of sketch of a building or something geometrical / perspective-y and the text background would be white with a black border and all black text

Mmm-Hmmm. TV has gone to shit (if you'll excuse my foul language). I haven't really "watched" TV since last winter.

There is an exception to the "crappy TV" rule, though! Have you ever watched "Home Movies"? It's an animated sitcom that comes on at 11pm on Teletoon. FUNniest cartoon I've ever seen in my life!!!
