Sorry I didn't call you back...I've been busting my ass trying to get some projects done and needed to focus, 'cause we all know I can get distracted.
That post isn't really much about CMF, although we DID get shafted in the best costume/makeup category...ask anyone that was there, the one that won was far inferior and as far as I can tell was given the award because their film didn't get shown, whereas the others in the category did.
HOWEVER, we did make it to the final 16, and my movie got screened last night...and that top 16 is out of over 1000 films, so that's pretty impressive.
Plus, Parker won for best comedy, so that was really cool. :)
Nah, some stuff went on later that evening that kinda irked me, that's where the grr comes from.
