The tap water in Barcelona is so salty that after a few days it fails to provide any refreshment. Hopefully it'll be better in rome. -
Barcelona
I arrived in Barcelona yesterday. It is a very interesting city compared to Winnipeg. The amount of money both cities have access to is more or less the same per person, but Barcelona is much more beautiful, and has much more attractions per person. Today at work a guy showed me a frayed bungee cord and scoffed dismissively "look at that, nothing but a buncha' rubber bands!"
That is exactly what a bungee cord is. What the hell did he think it was supposed to be? -

I was taking some pictures in Montreal today. I decided to use my telephoto to get a close up of a construction crane. After doing this I hear a guy yell something at me in french. The tinnitus in my right ear got really loud today. It Sounded like I could hear every little noise occurring in far off corners of the planet. My vision also went red and blurry. I'm thinking it might have been a migraine, but it didn't hurt. It was still scary. -

On an impulse today I decided to do some cooking. The last time I cooked dinner for my family was over 5 years ago, so I figure I'm long overdue for dinner. I made a chicken vindaloo using a recipe that I found on the internet with a little Improvisation. It was nice and spicy.
