I'm okay! A lot of scary stuff happened outside, so... I'm watching everyone at the window...

Just... some bad things, Hikari. Don't worry yourself about it. I am sure the police force will handle it quickly.

The recent death... how much investigating have you been able to conduct? Perhaps I could help if need be...

... I'm uncertain if I should be telling you, but...

The one today - Ty Lee - has been deemed an accident. It's unfortunate, but requires little investigation. As for yesterday's, I'm unsure what, if anything, has been discovered. Only that it was not a suicide. I haven't spoken to the victim, and I am unaware if anyone else of the force has, either, but no external witnesses have come forward yet.

Today was an accident...yesterday was an apparent homicide? I wonder who or what could be causing this. Why hasn't anyone spoken to the victim? Is it a sensitivity issue or merely that you are waiting for a witness to come forward?

Cases like this... It reminds me of home.

O-oh, please, Ms. Amano! Tohru is fine! If we're going to stay together, no need to be too formal, right?

Hikari hasn't bothered me at all, she's very cute!

Tohru is is then! I wasn't sure if you preferred formalities or not.

I am so glad. I was worried about her being too much of a bother. She's a sweet girl, after all.

It's..hard to not get used to it after awhile.

It still hurts me when someone dies, but..at least they'll be ok the next day, but that isn't even cer--.. Sorry, I shouldn't be so negative.

The only thing that is certain is uncertainty. It's painful to see so many people suffer through the pain of death, or resort to violence.

But... the fact they'll be okay tomorrow means that there is some way to a bright future or a new start.

I don't really like violence, either, but I won't hesitate to take up my bat to protect someone dear to me.

That's..A really wonderful way to look at it.

I'll admit I agree. To protect someone dear, but not at the cost of another life.

Well I'd like to think that thinking positively keeps my hopes up.
