WTF? January is soon drawing to a close and my how the time passes. To bring everybody up to speed:

Stil in school, taking 2 courses now instead of 5, gives me a bit more time on the side to get fit.

Entirely off-topic, but for a linguistic study/paper, I was wondering if you were willing to answer some questions as an actual 1/300,000 of native Icelandic speakers in existence... tough finding 300,000/6,500,000,000 despite globalism these days...

Anyway: Do you find reading Old English comprehensible (not counting any possible previous studies in Old English/Icelandic)? Is it easy? Hard?

As opposed to Old English, how many words in modern English do you notice are similar/identical to their cognates in Icelandic?
