Title: Pieced Together
Rating: T
Game: KH/FFVII
Summary: Just why, exactly, Aerith (Aeris) has... well, had a hole in her stomach. Why Cloud hasn't smiled for a while, why Cid fingers that same pack of cigarettes but chews an old piece of hay. Oh, and why Yuffie is crying in a coffin. That too.

The whole scene-Yuffie digging, all of them going through, especially the part where Sora sees that this is their own story, the coffin-was so, so beautiful, and utterly intense.
No words for how much I love this.

Aughhh, this story is so sad, but so well written... The line "Aerith (Aerith, once more, but being Aeris again for once was nice)" or Cid and his damn piece of straw because he promised Shera, but most of all, the line "We were heros once too".
Utterly utterly awesome. *adds to memories*

The whole story was absolutely heart-wrenching and so utterly beautiful!! Wonderfully written and so very realistic. It's very rare for someone to write FFVII characters within in the KH fandom as ones remembering their real lives. Most people take the creators' statements that it's an alternate universe and don't go farther. This was really unique.
I just absolutely love it!!

I love it, and I love the coffin scene but I have to admit what I loved best was this sentence, when there is this realization:
"Because Sora isn't a part of this group."
The confusion and how Sora thinks about how he thought he kenw the group but really didn't. I loved it. Because it really draws out how Sora might be a hero but this isn't his story, he's not the main character here, and as much as he thought he knew his friends, they had pasts and secrets that he as an outsider, was not part of.
And God, how he'll never meet Vincent Valentine.
